Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. The Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded by using the balance bar. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She along with her partner Gabby Doug were among the first Americans who won back-toback golds in team events. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to be fashion-forward and increase her line of Leotards and socks in near future. She's writing a book entitled Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
